Cozy Cove candles are thoughtfully crafted using coconut wax and clean fragrance blends. A little care helps ensure the best burn, fragrance throw, and overall experience from start to finish.

✨ First Burn Matters

When lighting a candle for the first time, allow it to burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface.

  • Burn until the melt pool reaches the edges of the jar

  • This helps prevent tunneling and promotes an even burn

  • First burns typically take 2–3 hours, depending on candle size

✂️ Trim the Wick

Before each burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch.

  • Helps maintain a clean, steady flame

  • Reduces soot and smoke

  • Encourages an even, consistent burn

If the flame ever becomes too tall or flickers excessively, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, trim the wick, and relight.

⏳ Burn Time Guidelines

For best results:

  • Burn candles for 2–4 hours at a time

  • Avoid burning longer than 4 hours in one session

  • Allow wax to cool and reset between burns

This helps preserve both fragrance and candle life.

🔥 Candle Safety

Always burn candles responsibly:

  • Place on a heat-safe, stable surface

  • Keep away from drafts, pets, and flammable materials

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Discontinue use when about ½ inch of wax remains

🕯 Wood Wick Notes

If your candles feature wooden wicks:

  • Ensure the wick is trimmed short before lighting

  • A soft crackle is normal and part of the experience

  • If the flame struggles, gently remove excess char and relight

🌿 Caring for Your Space

Coconut wax burns clean and evenly, creating a soft, welcoming atmosphere. For best scent experience:

  • Burn in a room appropriate to the candle size

  • Allow fragrance to gently fill the space rather than overwhelm it
